RADAR INTEGRATION WITH LEVEL 9 PDS
MPI's Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave Radar solution can be seamlessly integrated with our Level 9 PDS solution to allow for automatic derating and braking when the vehicle is in proximity of an object.

MPI's Radar solution is a vehicle-to-object awareness system suitable for vehicles operating on surface mines, as an additional feature to our PDS solutions.
The system significantly improves traffic awareness, alerting the driver of imminent dangers, such as trees, buildings, etc.
The MPI Radar uses controlled beam patterns to minimise false warnings. With it's rugged casing and design, it is suitable for both on- and off-road applications, unaffected by moisture, dust, vibration, heat, cold, UV, water and mud. The display is seamlessly integrated on the driver's PDS screen.
Canbus and non-Canbus radars available.
Range: 0.5m to 30m (meters).
